The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House hosted our 1st Annual Faces of Hope Luncheon to be held at the Hilton Inn at Penn on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 12pm. This unique invitation-only fundraiser worked by having current Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House supporters each fill a table at the event with friends and colleagues who they believe have the heart to support to the mission of the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.
The Cataldo Family, guest speakers at the Luncheon.
Over 250 of these guests joined us to learn more about the idea that was born 34 years ago in Philadelphia, when an unlikely partnership was formed between the Philadelphia Eagles, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the McDonald’s restaurant chain. Then, no one would have imagined that a need for a home away from home for families of seriously ill children would grow to become the first Ronald McDonald House – right here in Philadelphia.

Tom was a featured speaker at the luncheon.
The University of Pennsylvania and the Hilton Inn at Penn are the sponsors of this event. Thank you to the Girard Academic Music Program and A Fresh Focus Photography for their contributions to the event.
