Two Houses.  One Community.

The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House now has two locations: our first home on Chestnut Street and our second home at Front and Erie. In a single year at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, we welcome over 2,200 families who stay with us while their child is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. In addition, we provide two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to extend our comfort and support to families while still being only steps away from their sick child.

Keeping Families Together When It Counts The Most

The last thing we want our families to worry about is whether they can afford to stay together. We ask each family to pay a guest fee of $15 a night. Yet, even though the cost for us to host each family is over $75 a night, no one is turned away for lack of funds. Not having to worry about meeting their basic needs means parents can focus on what's really important, their families and the health of their child.

We invite you to bring the light of hope to families by subsidizing a family's stay at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. This gift of light and love is powerful medicine and a strong source of courage and strength to our families. Thanks to your generosity, parents will sleep a bit easier. Every donation received will be represented by a light illuminated at our Share A Night, Light A Light Ceremonies scheduled in December for both houses. The lights will continue to glow throughout the Holiday Season.
