Submit your artwork to our art contest and help us fill our hallways with comfort and hope!

Art has the power to produce joy during tough times, to calm anxiety, to encourage mindfulness, and to create a sense of belonging. By showcasing the work of local artists, RMHC Philly aims to provide these benefits to each family who stays at the Ronald McDonald House while their child receives life-saving pediatric care at local hospitals.

If you’d like to participate, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page to indicate your interest and stay up-to-date!

GUIDELINES:

  • Artwork should be inspired by one of the the following themes:
    • Our Dreams – Our dreams are the things we strive for, the hopes that keep us motivated, and the stories that we experience while we sleep. Use your art to illustrate your dreams
    • Our City – Philly has always welcomed visitors with open arms. No wonder the world’s first Ronald McDonald House opened here in 1974! Illustrate your love for Philly.
    • Our Universe – It is humbling to think how small we are in the vastness of our universe. Are you able to put into a visual image how you perceive the universe?
    • Our Loved Ones – The ones we love lift us up and make us feel like we belong in the world. Illustrate the special connections you share with your loved ones.
    • Comfort and Hope – Create artwork that makes you feel comfort and hope when you look at it: abstract art using your favorite colors, pictures of things you love, whatever brings you joy!
  • Each piece submitted must be accompanied by a submission form (click here).
  • Please do not include any trademarked characters or images, including Ronald McDonald the clown.
  • Art can be created with any medium and can be any size up to 24” x 24”.
  • By submitting your artwork, you agree to allow RMHC Philly to use the piece in on its walls or future digital/print marketing materials.
