PRMH 35th Birthday Party a Great Success

Over 800 guests gathered at the Please Touch Museum on Friday, November 6, 2009 to celebrate 35 years of helping families.
The birthday themed event featured the presentation of the first ever Dr. Audrey E. Evans Award of Excellence to Dr. Jean Bennett, Dr. Katherine High, and Dr. Albert Maguire for their groundbreaking work in reversing congenital childhood blindness. A moving speech by PRMH's own Family Room Coordinator and former patient Suzie Norvilas, along with an address by Mayor Michael Nutter, were additional highlights. The event also included a lively auction and raffle. Overall, the event raised over $400,000 for our families.
The party was Co-Chaired by Joan Emmi & Judy Boreham, along with Honorary Co-Chairs Marian & Norman Wolgin and Gini & Stu Peltz.
