Both Houses combined, we opened our doors 2718 times to welcome 1622 families to their home away from home in 2010.  Our guests traveled from 16 countries throughout the world and 39 states within the USA to seek medical care.

Front & Erie increased the number of guest rooms operated from 15 to 17 during calendar 2010. 

We often find all of our Guest Rooms full and have to turn families away.  We are fortunate to be able to offer our families a discounted hotel room through our Hotel Partnership program.

Families are asked for a nominal donation to stay at the House but no family is turned away due to their ability to pay.  Many families pay a reduced fee or no fee to stay.

The Service Departments with the greatest stays varies at each House. Chestnut Street House primarily serves CHOP and the center city hospitals. Front & Erie primarily serves St. Chris and Shriners

Our volunteers are the heart of the House.  There are over 300 routine volunteers that staff both houses from 9am to 9pm, 365 days a year.  Plus, hundreds of other volunteers cook meals, provide family activities, and support the House through community service projects.

Oncology Patients and their siblings enjoyed a "western" themed week of fun in August at the annual Ronald McDonald Camp, held in the Poconos.
