Both Houses combined, we opened our doors 2,396 times to welcome 1,380 families into a community of comfort and hope in 2012. Our guests traveled from 18 countries throughout the world and 44 states within the USA to seek medical care.

We often find all of our guest rooms full and have to turn families away. However, we are fortunate to be able to offer our families a discounted hotel room through our Hotel Partnership program. The program includes 17 hotels in the area, with an average room rate of $95 per night. | |

The Service Departments with the greatest stays varies at each House. Chestnut Street House primarily serves The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and center city hospitals. Front & Erie primarily serves St. Christopher's and Shriners Hospital. | |

Our volunteers are the heart of the House. There are over 330 routine volunteers that staff both houses from 9am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Plus, there are hundreds of other volunteers that cook a meal, provide a family activity, and support the House through community service projects. | |
