Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region COVID-19 Statement

Our mission is to create a community of comfort and hope for families with seriously ill children. With hundreds of volunteers and donors, we know that our community spreads beyond the walls of our House. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing – we hope you are doing well and staying safe.

At RMHC of the Philadelphia Region, we are closely monitoring the dynamic situation that is the spread of COVID-19 in our area, and we will continue to act thoughtfully to ensure all precautionary steps are taken. We are in regular contact with our hospital partners and will continue to rely on guidance from local, state, and federal health authorities.

We have taken numerous precautionary steps to keep our families safe. At this time, only essential operations staff and registered families are allowed at the House. All volunteer activity, including Guest Chef Groups, has been suspended and a number of fundraising events have been postponed or cancelled so we can all do our part to flatten the curve.

Even during this time of the “Stay at Home” statewide directive, our House remains open and as always, the health and wellbeing of our families is our priority.

How can you help?

We recognize that this is an uncertain time for all of us, but our families face uncertainty every day as their child receives treatment at local hospitals. They need you now, more than ever before, to help them weather this storm. We hope you will consider supporting our families in the following ways:

Thank you for considering how you can support RMHC of the Philadelphia Region and our families.
