for Family Support Services

The Family Support Services Team offers compassionate assistance to all families staying at the Ronald McDonald Houses in Philadelphia, where the health and well-being of the entire family is our number one priority. Family Support Services Team members are available to help seven days a week.

Our team of masters-level Social Workers works with families to provide emotional support and address their unique concerns. The Social Work Team provides families with individualized care throughout the length of their stay.

The Family Services Team is available seven days a week to help families with their room requests, learn more about the House and navigate their stay with us. The Team coordinates the room request process for all new and returning families and works collaboratively with the rest of the Family Support Services Team to ensure the comfort and care of families entering the House.

Our Activities Program provides opportunities for creativity and play designed to bring moments of respite to adults and children staying at the House. Activities are generally scheduled on weeknights and weekends during the hours that most families are in the House.

The education and tutoring program is intended to keep children connected to their educational journey during an extended stay at the House. A skilled set of educators is available to provide individualized educational support and tutoring to all school-aged children staying in the House for at least two weeks.
