Steven Hwang, MD is a neurosurgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia and is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Hwang received his undergraduate degree in biology from Yale University and earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto Medical School.

Dr. Hwang’s affiliations include Congress of Neurological Surgeons and American Association of Neurologic Surgeons (pediatric section/spine and peripheral nerve section member); associate member of Cancer Oncology Group and Scoliosis Research Society; member of North American Spine Society; and medical advisory board member of The Coalition against Pediatric Pain.
