***The global pandemic of COVID-19 has necessitated a temporary suspension in Guest Chef and Meals to Go groups at Ronald McDonald Houses in Philadelphia. Limiting visitors is a precaution we are taking to keep our entire community safe during these times, but we miss seeing our volunteers in the kitchen every day.***

Your support is still needed so that we can continue to feed our guest families during this difficult time. We hope that you will consider donating towards our meals program, sponsoring our new Served with Love with Chef Jared cooking show, or helping in another way. Click on the buttons below to learn about all the ways you can help us this season.

MEALS-TO-GO VOLUNTEERS

Looking for a fun way to support the families we serve? Sign up to make Meals-To-Go to keep our fridges and pantry well stocked to feed the families.

Here’s how it works:

You and a group of friends prepare healthy breakfast and lunch options to stock the Grab And Go refrigerators. You won’t actually be serving your dishes; instead, you will package the food for individual servings. Families can grab items on their way to the hospital or to refuel if they miss regular mealtimes.

At the Chestnut Street House, shifts are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Meals-To-Go groups no longer bring ingredients to prepare meals at the Chestnut Street House. Our Food Services team will provide everything you will need to make yogurt parfaits, berry muffins, hearty salads, sandwiches and more, depending on the needs of the House that week. Groups contribute $225.00 for the cost of ingredients to feed 90 people.

At the Front & Erie House, shifts are available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Meals-To-Go groups at the Front & Erie House purchase and bring their ingredients to prepare meals for 25 to 30 people.

All food must be prepared on-site during your shift in our fully-equipped kitchens. PRMH provides packaging supplies.
